Thomas P. Doheny serves as President of Eagle Eye Strategies LLC, which he founded in August of 2024. A Virginia native, Tom grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and graduated from
Georgetown Preparatory School in 2003. He began his career in government and politics as a White House intern in 2006, serving Vice President Cheney in his press office. Upon graduating cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College in 2007 he served in the George W. Bush administration under Secretary Carlos Gutierrez at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Tom served six years as a senior communications advisor on Capitol Hill in both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. In the House he spent four years as Communications Director to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers of North Carolina. He then served two years as Communications Director to Senator Deb Fischer of Nebraska.



Following his career in politics Tom transitioned to a new career in corporate communications, serving in senior roles at three different Fortune 500 companies, including CSRA Inc., General Dynamics and Leidos. At CSRA he helped lead effective media relations operations which contributed to General Dynamics purchasing CSRA for $10 billion in 2018. He stayed on to lead media relations and government relations for General Dynamics’ GDIT business unit. At Leidos he led a global team of press secretaries and strategic communications experts to grow the company and increase brand awareness.
